Remembering Our Founder

Founder Marian with son Greg and daughter Cara

With love and sadness, we announce that Marian Harris, our mother and founder of PARTNERS, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021. As a respected restaurateur, recipe innovator and steward of several iconic businesses, she leaves a celebrated legacy and a thriving business. We mourn the loss of an entrepreneur and visionary who turned a great recipe into an award-winning company.

Marian set the path for PARTNERS, which she founded in 1992 after her homemade crackers became a hit in her downtown Seattle restaurant. A testament to her ability to ensure connection and community at every level of the business is that many PARTNERS employees have been with us for over 20 years which is rare for a company our size. An innovator at heart, our mother always tried new ways to bring flavor and real ingredients to her customers—a practice PARTNERS continues to this day.

We are proud to call ourselves a second-generation family-owned business. With a new, expanded facility producing about 11 million crackers each day, 90 employees, four brands and a wide variety of flavors and products sold worldwide, PARTNERS is stronger than ever. Marian’s ingenuity and vision laid the groundwork for this success. We will continue to honor our mother’s memory and her entrepreneurial spirit by making our foods from scratch with integrity and responsibility.
